CANDLE CARE
- Burning:
Remove all packaging before lighting candle.
During the FIRST burn, allow the wax to melt and pool to the edge of the glass. This may take between 3-4 hours.
Do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours on its first burn. This will prevent tunnelling.
Ensure the wax is fully rest (solidified) before relighting.
2. Safety:
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Place candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
Avoid burning the candle to the bottom of the container; leave at least 1cm of wax to prevent overheating the glass container
3. Wick Trimming:
Trim the candle wick to about 5mm to promote a smooth burn and prevent soot build-up.
4. Extinguishing:
Gently blow out the flame, taking care not to blow hot wax out of the container.
A candle snuffer is recommended for extinguishing, as it is immediate and prevents smoking.
Allow the candle wax to solidify before relighting.
