Holkham Beach, North Norfolk. This is where it all started. November 2019, my friend insisted on taking me there for a walk, as I had been feeling very down. It was cold, wet & windy but very invigorating. I literally felt the cow webs in my mind blow away and for the first time, in a long time, I felt alive. As we walked back I started to wonder how I could bottle this moment. That’s when the idea of Norfolk fragranced candles came about.

Straight away, I knew I wanted to use sustainable, premium quality ingredients with recyclable packaging.

With my love of local history and passion for Norfolk, I combined my ideas and now have over 30 different Candles & Wax Melt fragranced themes.

I started to sell in lovely gift shops around Norfolk whilst working full time. But I wasn’t satisfied with that. I wanted to sell directly, face to face. An opportunity for having a temporary Stall on Norwich Market arose, so I quit my job and took the leap in March 2024.

It soon became apparent that Customers wanted more Norfolk related products and so I expanded the range to include tea towels, mugs, tote bags, cards etc. In the June I took on a lease and the following year extended into the Stall beside me.

For the Love of Norfolk is now the only shop in Norwich that exclusively sells only products that are not just made in Norfolk BUT actually inspired by Norfolk, it’s beauty, places, people and nuances.
